The Foolish Donkey

A lion once lived in a dense forest there was also a jackal in the same forest the jackal always used to work for lion.

One day. the lion and the elephant got into a battle and during the fight the lion Suffered  lot of injuries he got massively injured in his leg due to which he found difficult to walk. One day the lion told the jackal-"friend listen to me it has been a lot of days since I have eaten anything since the fight has taken place . it has become hard for me to hunt for now you help me in hunting.bring someone to me and I will kill him then both of us will eat him together."

Listening to the lion,the jackal thought for a while and then said " there is no harm in but only advantage I will fetch a victim for nearby village and after killing him both of us will share the flesh ". After agreeing to the lion he went to a nearby village and went hunting.on the way he sees a donkey and then begins to manipulate him so as to take him to the lion.

The jackal says him " hello donkey how are you why are you so sad ? You have gotten so lean it seems you have not eaten anything in a long time. Does not your Bose give you food?"
donkey reply to Jackal"my boss gets a lot of work from me but does not give enough meals to eat, hi overburdens me so much."
Jackal: "you come with me I will take you into the forest you have fun eating grass as much as you want ".

The donkey gets ready to go immediately and then he goes with the Jackal as soon as the donkey reaches the lion. The lion paws him on his back but fails to kill him. The donkey run away from there. The Jackal Says to the lion " what did you do it was so hard to bring him here and you let him go so easily seems like you are not a agile enough to kill someone ".Seeing the Jackal talk like this , the lion gets very angry .yet he stays quit and then replies to him  " it is not like that friend my target never went empty he was released from my trip would have died ".
Jackal: "well try once more you should not let him go empty next time I will bring him again ".

The Jackal then went to the donkey again and Jackal says to donkey  " friend you ran so fast you did not even taste the grass of the forest". The donkey replied angry " if I had stayed for long I would have died. You arranged to get rid of my life keep your grass with yourself " .

The Jackal tried to trick the donkey again Jackal says to donkey  " friend whom are you death was actually your girlfriend who was fascinated by you see wanted to hug you but you to ran away ".
Donkey said to Jackal " how could she be my girlfriend ?anyone will get afraid seeing her ".
Jackal says to donkey " friend she was Gandharva who liked you and sent me to you. She said till the time you don't  show up she will  not eat any food .

The donkey felt amused on one hand while the jackal felt great to succed in deceiving the donkey again. The jackal took the donkey back to the lion and this time the lion charged a killing blow. Before dying. The donkey said "you ended up being a fraudster friend ".the donkey died by saying this the lion then goes to the pound for bath . Jackal failed to his hunger and began to eat donkey.

After coming back , the lion noticed that the heart and ears of the donkey are missing.
Lion ask to jackal  " where the heart and ears of the donkey ? Couldn't you wait for me to came "?

The Jackal was very clever he said " if this donkey had heart and ears he would not have come to see you again . he come because he did not have it.

This way , the Jackal lied to the lion and they ate the donkey.

Talking tree

once upon a time there were two goods friend Ramesh and Suresh they used to work together as labours in a rich man's farm.they both strived the whole day and in the evening the rich man gave them some money and then they used to leave for their house.

 

This was their daily routine their financial condition was bad. one day there were eating food together

Ramesh: what happened brother today you  are lost in thoughts?

Suresh  : what should I tell you some daily  quarrel with my wife. I am passed off with my wife.

Ramesh:brother there is no mistake of your wife. it's our situation if we don't earn a single day we will have to sleep empty stomach.

Suresh: if we could go to the city and earn money.

Ramesh: will we earn good money if we work in the city?

Suresh:yes you know my neighbour Kamlesh he went to the city and returned  after 2 months . He bro so much money with him that he removed his house

Ramesh:brother that is awesome why don't we try our luck in the city and earn good money.

Suresh:that's a good idea I will inform my wife and then we will leave at once.

Suresh reached his house

Suresh: Vimla today me and Ramesh have decided something.

Vimla (Suresh's wife): what exactly?

Suresh: we will go to the city and earn money.

Vimla: really....... that's mean we will soon be rich and we will have lots of money.

Suresh: wait.... wait we have not even left and you are thinking why ahend.

Suresh's wife was very happy and in some day Ramesh and Suresh left for the city. both reached the city and here they work as labourers both are happy because they were earning good money in the city.

Soon a month passed

Suresh: I am missing the village.

Ramesh: even me we will must have earned goods till now? 

Suresh:yes! So let's go back to the village.

Ramesh:yes so lets go.

Both reached outside the village

Ramesh: goodness we have returned after one month.

Suresh: yes...I am feeling awesome.

Ramesh: yes but my thoughts are ailling me?

Suresh: what thought???

Ramesh: if we waste all of this money in one month.

Suresh: yes brother this is possible.

Ramesh: let's do this then we will hide our half earned money here  in this tree bark and we will return after one month to collect it back .

Suresh: okay that's a good idea.

Both kept half of their earned money with themselves and rest they hide inside the tree bark.

Both reached there village and were living happily.

Now 15 days have passed and Suresh was sitting with her wife vimla.

Vimla: the money you earned was not even suffice by me a necklace.

Suresh: who told you that I earned only so less?

Vimla:so?

Suresh: Ramesh and me hide half of our earnings.

Vimla: but why?

Suresh:because we thought that we would waste our earnings carelessly....

Vimla:that means that even Ramesh's money would be there only that means double money.

Suresh at the midnight went to the same tree and he grabbed both the money bags.

Now one month had past and both Ramesh and Suresh reached reached near the tree. Ramesh put his hand inside the bark.

Ramesh: brother there is no bag here.

Suresh: let me see.

Then Suresh put his hand inside the tree bark.

Ramesh: not there I am sure you must have stolen my money!

Suresh: no brother I did not steal.

Ramesh: whether you stolen or not that would be decided by the village wise men (panchayat) only.

Ramesh and Suresh went to the village wise man.

Suresh: one month back when we returned from the city we hide half of our earned money in the bark a tree and now when we went there it  was not there. This fact was only known to me and Ramesh and I think that he must have stolen the money.

Ramesh: no wise man I did not still maybe he must have stolen it.

Wise men: this is a complex situation now how should we decide.

Suresh: I have a witness.

Wise men: witness who is it?

Suresh: the goddess(Devi) that resides in the tree. The tree bark where we had hidden our money in the tree is the home of a goddess. We should ask her about this.

Wise men: ok let's go.

All gatherd near the tree.

Suresh:oh goddess, now you only tell us that who was it who stole the money bags?

Goddess:some days back at midnight Ramesh was here and he stole the money bags.

Ramesh: what? You are lying wait I will teach you a lesson.

Ramesh grabbed the burning stick lying nearby and burnt the tree.

Goddess: save me... save me....

They people standing there took Vimla out of the tree and save her life.

Wise men: so she is the goddess who resides here.

Ramesh: I did not expected this from you Suresh.

 saying this Ramesh left from the spot and both Suresh and Vimla was crying
